Canyons in your mind
formed over a millennia
and you
send thoughts cascading
carving walls deeper
leaving no escape
from the illusion
My art is crap as as I stare at the Monet
My words could never move as i read quotes of Maya Angelou
but yet
here I choose to regurgitate
and desecrate
this language of lost dreams
Storms above Driving
Swells rise and Falling
Rhythmic Bobbing
Peaks clashing
Salty Spray Eyes Stinging
Tongue Numbing
Ears plug, Choking,
Drowning
A sea of guilt, an ocean of fear,
waves of worry wash away
Light, Love, Life
life preserver
focus focus focus
focus focus
focus
this next breath
Wind
It creeps around the corners of my mind
unseen except for it's effects
heat and pressure drive it to life
a raging hurricane whipping sandy grains of fears
that brings the eyes to tears
or
a gently breeze whispering
soothing sounds of summers song
sweet scents of wildflowers
as the grasses sway
sunrise?
tilted 23.5 degrees
reason for the season
winter in the north
summer in the south
spinning 1000 mph
sunset?
while hurtling 67,000 mph
around the sun
sun streaking 448,000 mph
around the Milky Way
1 trip around the galaxy
230 Million years
so i ask is the sun rising or
is the earth just changing her perspective
